Associate Director of Clinical Operations Management

We are looking for a leader to head up the Clinical Operations Management function. In this role you will be leading a team of Clinical Operations Managers (COM) - and Clinical Trial Associates (CTA) - both very critical roles in ensuring the end-to-end execution of our global clinical trials. The COMs plays an instrumental role in leading and executing operational aspects of a clinical trial strongly supported by the CTAs. In this role you will be responsible for inspiring change, ensuring streamlined operation, and leading your team through our current transformative journey.

Ferring + You
You will be part of Global Clinical Operations (GCO), responsible for the planning and executing of clinical trials in phases 1-4 within all of Ferring’s therapeutic areas.

Your role will be critical in optimizing the end-to-end execution of clinical trials and implementing a simplified new operational model set up to accelerate the trial startup phase, drive operational effectiveness, provide scalability, and ensure consistency in execution. You will be part of a workstream defining and ensuring roll out of the newly established COM function within GCO.

You will take a seat on the Global Clinical Operations Leadership Team alongside leaders from Clinical Site Management, Clinical Data Management, Clinical Phase I Management, and Clinical Recruitment & Contract Management and as a leadership team you will have a stake in setting the strategic direction of GCO in Ferring.

To ensure One Global mindset within your function, you will align processes and procedures with your counterpart in the US, to ensure seamless management of clinical studies, enhancing our ability comply to changing internal and external demands, ultimately contributing to a strong pipeline. The role requires a high degree of collaboration across geographical regions and therefore also necessitates working across time zone differences.

Your day at Ferring
You will work from our International PharmaScience Center (IPC) in Copenhagen, and a vital part of your responsibility will be to steer your team through our transformation journey and develop the clinical operations management roles and competencies while ensuring high-quality deliverables on current and future projects. You will have great visibility in the organization, be able to collaborate broadly across the organization, and actively influence and challenge the status quo.
