About the role
Your primary responsibility will be to create a stronger data-driven approach on how to estimate, plan and follow up on our ability to support the development of clinical trials from a Biostatistics resource perspective. You will be responsible to build metrics in Biostat, that would make internal and external benchmark possible.
You will communicate with various senior stakeholders in Biostatistics and Data Science daily to help identify the best solutions. Additionally, you will support ongoing projects like outsourcing and other strategic projects in the area.
Responsibilities to take:
Use various data sources to calculate the resource demand, based on planned clinical trials
Build and maintain algorithms that quantify resource demand
You will be communicating and collaborating with both specialists and leaders
Ensure good data quality and presentation by understanding and investigating data.
Automate routine and mundane tasks with Microsoft Power Platform.
Work with internal stakeholders to improve both data structures and processes.
Contribute relevant data to projects
Qualifications
We realise that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at some of the following attributes then you could be the person, we are looking for:
M.Sc. in a relevant field, IT management, Economics, Bio-science, Business and Administration
+5 years of experience with data analysis in a mid-size/large company
Strong mathematical & statistical skills, modelling & programming skills, structured problem solving and visualization skills
Strong business acumen and data storytelling skills, as well as basic infrastructure (especially in cloud) knowledge
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
Skills in PowerBI and the entire Microsoft Power Platform
Willingness to work independently and learn
Experience within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within clinical drug development
Fluency in English
Nice to have:
Experience with building automation and applications with Power Automate and Power Apps
Knowledge of any programming language is strongly welcomed (ideally Python or R)

In the In the Novo Nordisk Development function, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide, ensuring that our processes follow global standards, regulations and business ethics while still delivering viable and innovative medicine.
We are a strategic function to the Biostatistics Science organisation. We provide strategic support and part of driving cross functional strategic initiatives. The team consist of engaged self-driven experts with a diversity of scientific backgrounds, such as data science and statistics, programming and in-depth knowledge across Biostatistics and Data Management processes, innovation, automation, digitalization tools and project management.
