A Snapshot of Your Day
As the contract manager, your role will be to manage and coordinate contract management activities for a long-term framework agreement that includes various project and component agreements, as well as consultancy agreements. You will lead all aspects of contract finalizations, handle the contract portfolio, and execute each individual contract together with the project team.
Collaboration with the Project Manager and Project Portfolio Manager will be essential to ensure that all team members are advised about risks and opportunities associated with each contract. During the execution phase, you will supervise contractual risks, assist with variations, claims, and payment requests, and ensure key milestones are achieved. You will also lead contracts with main subcontractors and partners.
Constant communication with various collaborators, such as the project team, other Siemens Energy entities, customers, business partners, and third-party sub-contractors, will be vital for successful contract management. Effective teamwork and dialogue with these parties will play a key role in the successful execution of the contracts.
