Your challenges
As our new Finance Business Partner you will be supporting part of region NACA covering markets in North America, Central & Eastern Europe , APAC and our subsidiary Altaterra. You will support them with Finance and performance management insights. The key focus in this role will be on APAC and Altaterra along with head office functions to which you will become a key sparring partner to support decision making with data-driven insights. You will work closely together with the team of finance professionals in the regions as well as the Lead Finance Business Partner for the Region NACA.
More specifically, your primary tasks will be to :
Partner with stakeholders within the region to create transparency in financial performance and drive better decision-making.
Optimise and automate the monthly performance reporting for both sales and financial performance.
Analyse and report business performance to the Regional Management Team.
Develop and report operational and strategic KlPIs connected to your market.
Act as a Finance Business Partner on strategic projects within your area of responsibility including business case calculations.
Drive the budget process and strategic annual financial plan for your region.

As this role is supporting part of region NACA you can expect 15-20 travel days a year.
Your Qualifications
We picture you as having strong interest and experience within finance and performance management, coupled with an analytical mindset and the ability to build relationships and communicate with various stakeholders across the organisation. You are passionate about making a difference and understand how to drive performance through insight, data-driven analysis, and strong cooperation with the rest of the business. You take the initiative and are comfortable acting independently but within a strong collaborative team environment.
Moreover, we expect that you:
Hold a master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, Accounting, or similar, alongside a commercial mindset.
Demonstrate experience from a Finance, Business Partnering, Management Consulting, or Strategy function, with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
Possess strong stakeholder management skills and are equally comfortable and effective in dialogue with stakeholders across all levels.
Have excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
Have knowledge working with financial data, ERPs, and reporting systems (VELUX uses SAP).
Have extensive Excel experience and the ability to handle large sets of data.
You will join a global and intercultural environment, which is why it is a prerequisite that you communicate effortlessly in English in both speech and writing.
