About the role
As a Finance Manager at RWE Renewables in Denmark, you will have overall responsibility for the finance and administration function, which means that you work operationally with many different parts of finance and administration. In other words, you will have great variety in your tasks and great opportunities to influence and drive the work and the company forward. Within our finance function, you will be part of the Nordic Finance Team and you will work closely with colleagues in other roles and support them.
 

Your main tasks will include:

In addition to the above, you will have a great opportunity to work in a new project that we are very proud of, Thor. Thor is an offshore wind farm, the first of three offshore wind farms decided as part of the 2018 Energy Agreement. Thor will be the largest offshore wind farm in Denmark to date and will be established in the North Sea off Thorsmindes on the west coast of Jutland. Thor, when connected to the grid in 2027, can annually produce power equivalent to the consumption of approximately 1 million Danish households.

Your profile
In order for you to thrive here with us, we see that you are a team player who appreciates a broad role that includes varying tasks in your role on the finance side, but you also have no problem assisting your colleagues in other functions.

In terms of experience, you have a university degree in the relevant field and we believe you have minimum five years experience as a finance manager where you have worked with a wide range of tasks. You probably have experience from a similar role where you had overall responsibility for the finances of a small or medium-sized company and some experience within SAP-system.

As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented and flexible in your way of working, where you can prioritize your tasks effectively. You enjoy working with others and building trusting relationships. Furthermore, you have the ability to focus on details while being able to look at the big picture.

In this role, we want you to be based in Copenhagen so you should live within commuting distance to our Copenhagen office which is centrally located in Industrins Hus, next door to the Tivoli!
