Formulation Scientist – be involved from strategy to execution
Are you looking to use and grow your experience in formulation development in a broad role with independent responsibilities? Do you want to drive formulation projects and contribute to the strategic development of future products?
In this role, your overall focus will be formulation development of drug products. Your responsibilities will cover formulations used for toxicology and clinical studies through the development phases and all the way to the commercial drug product.

Ferring + you
You will join our collaborative Product Development Formulation & Drug Delivery team at our stunning new facilities (IPC) near Copenhagen Airport. Here, you will work alongside 17 dedicated scientists and technicians, contributing to the formulation development of Ferring’s CMC projects. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from our global development and commercial production sites.

In the role of formulation scientist, you will play a pivotal part in this mission, focusing on crafting drug formulations. Your work will span a diverse spectrum of active ingredients, including small molecules, peptides, proteins, viral vectors, and microbiota.
Your day at Ferring
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, reporting, and presenting formulation development work internally to your team, the CMC project team, and management.
Your time will be spent contributing to short- and long-term formulation development strategies and plans within your area of expertise and according to regulatory guidance. Your work will include writing and reviewing documents covering strategies, study plans, reports, QbD documents, risk assessments, and control methods.

You are a quick learner and enjoy working on a broad range of product development projects involving all types of molecules.
