In order to expand our existing Planning & Project Management Team, we are now searching for a top motivated Teamlead.
Job Description
The position
As Head of Planning & Project Management, you are responsible together with your team for the execution of customer projects and development projects.
This includes managing cost, time, quality, and scope in projects as well as communication with international customers, suppliers, and other Syntegon sites.
Your tasks include:
Leading, supporting and coaching a team of project managers Reporting to the site management. Leading the department to the next excellence level by encouraging creativity and fostering an open and innovative work environment. Responsibility for performance in regards of projects costs, delivery time, and according to contracted scope, contract and claim management, and all related tasks for project execution and management. Close and proactive collaboration with all project related departments as well as customers and suppliers. Definition and optimization of standards and processes according to Syntegon rules and directives adjusted to site needs. Active participation in the management team of the company.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Engineering or similar degrees or at least 5 years of experience working in an automated machinery, industrial, packaging or capital equipment environment. Minimum of 5 years experience as a Project Manager in the pharmaceutical/ packaging or similar business and/ or certification in project management (preferred PMP or IPMA Level B or Level A). Strong leadership, ownership, accountability, and specificity skills, at least 3 years of experience in a managing role. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with the ability to successfully manage people and deal with complexity in a multinational environment. Ability to inspire diversity and inclusion, promote teamwork and collaboration amount the different functions. Demonstrated problem analysis and resolution skills at both a strategic and functional level. Out of the box thinking and encouragement of driving for creative, marketable solutions. Drive for excellence by continuous improvement and a sense of urgency. You master the English language in writing and oral on a high level. Any other main language is a premium.
