Who you are You are motivated to lead Information Security and Data Privacy for an entire organization, understanding how the ISDP function brings value to the business and coworkers and contributes to business objectives. With a focus on the protection and compliance of country information assets, you are ready to use your expertise to address potential risks and ensure compliance.
In this role, you have a minimum of 3 years experience working with Data Privacy and/or a minimum of 3 years experience working with Information Security matters. You have a Cand.Merc.Jur or Cand.Jur., degree, knowledge of industry standards, such as ISO, CIPP/E or equivalent accreditation and knowledge of the European data privacy legislation. You are appreciated for your strong communication skills, and for being able to convey the message to a wide spectrum of co-workers.
You know the following areas:
Strong knowledge of Data Privacy legislation (European)
Strong knowledge of Information Security controls and industry best practices in Information security
Solid understanding of Privacy by Design
In addition to leading ISDP issues for the organization, you are comfortable acting as a subject matter expert to stakeholders, ensuring they have the needed support and information available to identify and manage information and data privacy risks. You are a trusted business partner with personal integrity, discretion, reliability and flexibility.
Your responsibilities As an Information Security and Data Privacy Leader, you will implement the Information Security and Data Privacy strategy and drive compliance to relevant internal steering documents and regulatory requirements to protect the brand. Moreover, you will support the Information and Business Process owners to implement the necessary Information Security requirements into their process or solution.
In this role, you will:
secure implementation of the Group Information Security and Data Privacy strategy and common Group Digital goals
be a key business partner, securing the Security and Privacy by Design concept and integrating the function into business processes
have responsibility for the Information Security and Data Privacy incident management process, supporting contact with local regulators and/or individuals, decision material and escalations as required
be the speaking partner to the business for day-to-day Data Privacy issues, to enable successful navigation and compliance with our steering documents and Data Privacy legislation
provide skilled knowledge of Information security to the organization
secure personal Data Management activities such as Personal Data Inventory and Mapping are completed
manage suppliers in the full lifecycle of activity from a Data Privacy and Information Security perspective
stay updated on current and emerging security and privacy trends, threats, and tools as well as changes in legislation within the area of Data Privacy and applicability to the organization
secure the process for Individual Rights requests and ensure it is followed
About this work area To secure effective Information Security that supports IKEA business processes by maintaining, developing and supporting reliable, robust and efficient Digital products and platforms. Country Group Digital contributes to the growth of IKEA and improves the customer´s life at home. Country Digital also works together with all functions to ensure high co-workers' awareness and the capabilities they need to do their best work.
In this role, you will be part of the Digital function in IKEA Denmark. The Digital function consists of 16 people. You will report to the Country Digital Manager.

Additional information The position is on average 37 hours per week on an individual contract. Overtime is reflected in the salary.
It will be possible to work both from home and in the office in IKEA Taastrup but we will expect you to be in the Service Office 3 days a week.
