Gut Immunology lab is a newly established and the home to an enthusiastic, diverse, and international group of researchers in the field of gut microbiology and immunology. The research focuses primarily on immunopathologic mechanisms, novel therapeutics, and the translation of basic science findings for applications in gut health diseases. Human and animal in vitro models are used in immunobiological investigations to elucidate the dysregulated immune responses in the gastrointestinal tract that lead to mucosal inflammation.

To support us in this effort we are currently looking for an enthusiastic, open-minded, and proactive laboratory technician trainee.

Your Profile

The eligible candidate must have completed theoretical training as lab technician education. The candidate is expected to participate lab routine tasks and in vitro validation assays and with guidance, is capable of planning the daily work and execute with precision and speed while observing all safety regulations and protocols. The candidate will take ownership of the assignment and proactively propose solutions to the issues that arise and are expected to carry multi-tasks and work independently after training.

This is one-year program as part of education frame of lab technician within an industrial R&D environment. The lab provides not only the opportunities to practice and convert scientific know how into industrial application, but also an unforgettable experience in an exciting, interdisciplinary research lab with multicultural and multilingual environment. The successful candidate will be supervised and guided by an appointed experienced senior staff and supported by the whole lab team.
