We manage AI projects from end-to-end

At KPMG NewTech, our Machine Learning team manages AI projects from start to finish: identifying emerging business issues, crafting innovative models, executing and rolling out scalable systems, and empowering peers and customers to leverage the full potential of AI.

With your technical expertise, you will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance AI solutions.

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will work on different projects critical to our clients' needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects.

We expect our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities, and be enthusiastic to take on new problems as we continue to push technology forward.

Our team

The Machine Learning and Quantum team is focused on delivering solutions using the latest developments in the AI space. Our team consists of diverse individuals with backgrounds in data science, machine learning, UX, business, and engineering. We are passionate about using AI to solve real-world problems for our clients and take pride in being experts in the field.

Currently, we are heavily focused on generative AI and how recent and ongoing developments are shaping the landscape.

Minimum qualifications:

• B.E. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a relevant field.
• 3+ years of industry experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred qualifications:

• Understanding the fundamentals of machine learning and natural language processing (NLP), and applying these principles to solve real-world problems. Familiarity with developments in deep learning and language modeling, particularly generative AI and large language models.
• Experience in deploying Machine Learning systems in production.
• Experience in managing and maintaining solutions.
• Comfortable in a client-facing role.

Responsibilties

• Develop new ML models, which involves leading data annotation processes, training models, evaluating and mitigating bias, and meeting production latency and serving requirements.
• Support other team members in developing ML expertise.
• Maintain and deploy models at scale.
• Demonstrate the ability to generate practical solutions for business problems and utilize the results to drive business change in collaboration with our clients.
• Foster a team culture that values inclusiveness, collaboration, and making a meaningful impact.
