Join ROCKWOOL as Marketing Project Manager and get the chance to work internationally within B2B marketing communications, making your contribution to reduce the consumption of the world’s scarce resources. As an experienced communications expert, you will have plenty of opportunity to work with all aspects of branding, marketing communications and events management in order to drive brand awareness and create lead generation, in a role with a high degree of responsibility.

Your future team

As Marketing Project Manager, you will specifically join the Marketing Communications Team of ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation, a subsidiary of the ROCKWOOL Group. We communicate to technical peers in the insulation industry as well as to customers ranging from EPCs to contractors and distributors.

The Marketing Communications team is part of the global Marketing Team located in Denmark, the Netherlands and in USA. The team covers business development, product management, public affairs, branding, marketing and communications and digital marketing. You will work in close collaboration with all team members but also with sales representatives and colleagues from other ROCKWOOL departments.

What you will be doing

As Marketing Project Manager, you will own and drive projects within global branding and marketing communications, such as;

Product launches: Create communication launch plan, content and launch to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the campaigns are both efficient and impactful. Digital campaigns: Develop and implement campaigns to specific target groups, together with our Digital Marketing Manager Content creation: As a great communications specialist and editor, you need to develop various marketing content as well as maintain sales tools such as brochures, cases, website content, videos, presentations etc. Brand governance: Together with the Head of Branding and Marketing Communications, you are part of governing our branding and global messaging, to ensure we stay consistent and strong in our markets. Event management: You are responsible for planning major regional events in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Projects will vary in size and overall support our marketing communications strategy.

We get close to our customers through close collaboration with sales and distributor and you are also expected to support these with ad hoc tasks.

As highly valued member of our small team, you will be given plenty of responsibility and tasked with a great variety of marketing projects, making the role both important and challenging but also very exciting.

What you bring

You are an experienced marketeer within international B2B business, and you are passionate about branding and communication that resonates with your target audience. To you, ‘Content is King’ and you thrive as an expert, developing great content in collaboration with copy writers and internal stakeholders, whilst ensuring the right mix of digital and traditional communication activities.

Furthermore, you are a maestro in managing projects, delivering on time, on budget and with satisfied stakeholders. You are proative, work with a strong drive, stay focused in an often hectic environment and take pride in delivering quality work. You have a strong business sense, and you can challenge sales when needed. You are creative and think out of the box when it comes to new ways of finding solutions. Our responsibilities are global, which also means that you are ok sometimes taking online meetings with colleagues in different times zones, accommodating their time.

Our dream Marketing Project Manager has:

  • Bachelor’s or Master degree within Internal Business Communications, International Marketing or similar
  • 5+ years of work experience within global B2B marketing communications
  • Solid Project Management experience
  • Fluent in business English and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work with suppliers globally
  • Able to transform technical specifications into customer benefits and value communication
  • Able to set priorities and work independently

    Some travelling can be expected, but not every month.
