Postdoc of Innovation Studies

Department of Food and Resource Economics invites applicants for a two-year Postdoc position in Innovation Studies from 1 June 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter. The postdoc’s duties will include research within innovation studies, contribution to public sector consultancy work for Danish authorities, support for innovation-promoting activities across the Faculty of SCIENCE as well as teaching. The post may also include performance of other duties.

The successful candidate should have:

• A PhD degree in a social science discipline, with relevance for the area of innovation studies,
• High-level proficiency in written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of a Scandinavian language is an advantage,
• Demonstrated experience with relevant theories and methods for studies of innovation,
• The ability to perform research work, demonstrated by previous publications is meritorious,
• Demonstrated teaching in relevant areas,
• Experience with promoting and planning innovation and entrepreneurship education at university level or similar.

Terms of employment

The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.

Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.

Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
