Site Procurement Manager for our high-volume API manufacturing site in Hvidovre
You will be part of our Finance, Procurement & Supply Chain team consisting of five people. As our Site Procurement Manager, you are the owner of our site’s direct and indirect sourcing and procurement processes, ensuring smooth and compliant operations, and you are a key player in the further development of the function and processes to optimize the business. Besides Finance, Procurement & Supply Chain, our organization consists of highly specialized engineers, chemists, technicians, operators, and other skilled employees, who are all dedicated to delivering high quality API to help our patients improve their lives.
Site Procurement Manager
As our Site Procurement Manager your mission is to own and manage the direct and indirect (CAPEX & OPEX) sourcing & procurement activities on the site. You are also responsible for developing and driving the site procurement strategy to develop and maximize the impact of our procurement (sourcing) activities in terms of supplier risk mitigation, supplier performance management, supplier relationship development, total cost of ownership reduction, supplier-enabled innovation, supplier related ESG development, and support to productivity / efficiency improvements. You continuously strive to improve the performance of procurement through development of best practices and continuous improvements, and you serve as the bridge between Ferring’s global procurement function and the site, ensuring that our strategy is aligned with the global procurement vision and strategy.
Your primary tasks are:
Experienced Procurement Manager able to drive and develop
You probably have a relevant master’s degree and 5-10 years’ of experience within procurement management as well as experience in dealing with commercial contracts. You have a comprehensive understanding of procurement processes, and you are aware of best practices for sourcing, supplier management and procure-to-pay. You have excellent analytical skills, and you are a strong communicator, able to impact your surroundings by inspiring, setting a clear direction, supporting, and coaching your stakeholders inside and outside the organization to drive and improve our procurement processes and performance. You are experienced in working in ERP systems (we currently use Navision and Coupa, soon SAP), and you have strong skills within MS Excel, Power point, and Word. Lastly, you have excellent communication skills in English, verbally and written.
