The Position

As our new Product Responsible, you will oversee one or more of our medical devices and delivery system platforms, driving excellence and effectiveness.

Some of your main tasks include:

• Driving post-launch activities for our products, adeptly balancing external market demands and internal requirements
• Ensuring effective problem-solving in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders
• Identifying and executing development and enhancement initiatives related to mechanical design, requirements engineering, design verification, and safety risk management
• Playing a key role in refining our day-to-day operations and driving forward process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, we imagine you:

• Hold a master’s degree in engineering, biomechanics, science, manufacturing, or a related field
• Possess practical experience in compliance and documentation within a regulated industry, such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, food, aviation, or automotive
• Showcase exceptional organisational skills, adept at managing both short- and long-term projects with a methodical approach
• Demonstrate strong networking and stakeholder management skills, enabling you to set clear direction, enhance performance, and maintain quality and efficiency
• Communicate fluently in both spoken and written English

It would be considered as an advantage if you prior experience with Design Control or medical device development.

On a personal level, you thrive on being the go-to-person for product related decisions among stakeholders. You are adept at challenging stakeholders and navigating complex scenarios to find impactful compromises. Whether in critical situations or long-term projects, you excel in independent work, leveraging expert colleagues for optimal outcomes. With a well-structured and systematic way of working, you seek simple and effective solutions within the complexity that surrounds medical device design control.

About the department

The position is in Device Development which is part of Novo Nordisk Device Manufacturing Development. Device Development holds the design responsibility for Novo Nordisk’s medical devices and delivery systems and is the link between Device R&D and production.

In Device Development, the main task is to maintain marketed products as well as develop new variants of existing product platforms. Our deliverables have direct impact on our ability to deliver to the market, on patient safety, and on compliance with the requirements of the authorities.

You will join the Platform Maturity team and be working alongside colleagues with various educations and work experience. You can look forward to an exciting job engaging with multiple stakeholders at global and local level.
