Your position 

As project manager in our Operations Support department, you will be managing a diverse project portfolio, with both internal and external projects. We operate in an international organisation, which is why it is important that you are solution oriented, have a proactive mindset and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

The Operations Support department is part of our Oil & Gas division, where you will have more than 1,000 colleagues working locally and globally. You will be reporting to our Director of Operations Support. 
The position is full time and based at our headquarter in Esbjerg – some travel must be expected.

Your tasks & responsibilities 

As our new project manager, you will ensure safe and efficient implementation of projects. Further, you will be expected to safeguard Semco Maritime’s best interest by effectively managing customer expectations and ensuring the corresponding processes are anchored within the department.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Overall project management and follow-up of all main areas.
• Acting as primary interface towards the clients with tie-in to the back-office
• Ensuring internal processes are adhered to and up to date.
• Ensuring implementation of Semco HSE instructions and standards
• Ensuring that our project deliveries are within time, quality, and cost targets
• Regular project reviews 
• Ensuring that contract requirements are met
• Facilitating the creation of relevant internal processes
• Coordination between off- and onshore employee groups and functions
• Assisting with day-to-day business in the department and ad hoc assignments. 

Your profile & qualifications

You are structured and organized with attention to details as well as a strong communicator. Most importantly, we are looking for a proactive project manager who thrives in a dynamic organizational landscape and who is persistent in finding the best solutions and can perform with demanding deadlines.

To succeed in this high-impact position, we expect that you have the following qualifications:

• A relevant degree, minimum bachelor level
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager
• Experience within maritime or the offshore segment. Alternatively, you have worked in the oil/gas industry 
• Experience from offshore construction projects and a commercial mindset is an advantage.
• Ability to manage both technical and financial risks
• Ability to establish trust with customers and flair for processes
• Great communication skills in English, written and spoken. Proficiency in Danish is preferred.
• Experienced user of MS Office.
• All offshore certificates as a trip offshore may occur. (minimum the ability to obtain needed certificates)
