At Novo Nordisk Pharmatech, a leading global supplier of high-quality pharmaceutical ingredients and services, we are looking for a an experienced Sales Excellence Manager. This is a newly created role that will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize sales velocity and ensure our sales organization operates at its peak potential. You will have the opportunity to pivot the scope of the role according to how you see its highest impact in our organization; however, ultimately, we see this position as a catalyst for driving revenue growth with our global sales organization.

The Position

As our new Sales Excellence Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the traditional sales excellence suite including updating and optimizing our sales process, reinforce our sales methodology, training, tools and performance metrics establishment. You will interact with global salesforce, which is small but consists of very experienced sellers. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Sales Process Optimization: Lead the development and optimization of sales processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall sales performance.
  • Methodology Enhancement: Refine and implement sales methodologies to align with industry best practices, ensuring a high level of customer engagement and strategic selling approaches.
  • Training and Development: Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive training programs to equip the sales team with the necessary skills, tools, and knowledge to excel in their roles
  • Tool management: outline, own and maintain a sales desktop and technology stack enabling our sales organization to perform
  • Channel- and Sales enablement: Co-create content which enables our organization to drive more sales across various channels
  • Performance Metrics Establishment: Establish KPIs and measure sales effectiveness, providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Head of Sales to ensure latest best practices are cascaded to the Sales organization
  • Qualifications

    We expect that you have firsthand sales experience. Additionally, we envision you are already working with Sales Excellence perhaps within a global technical sales. We believe it is critical to your success, that you have strong communication- and collaboration focus, since you need to work together with a diverse sales organization. Moreover, we are looking for someone with a high level of drive, as many of the fundamental aspects of the role will have to be established. Specifically, we imagine that you have:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of first-hand B2B sales experience
  • 3+ years of Sales Excellence experience
  • Experience from a technical sales organization will be beneficial
  • Experience with training a sales organization
  • Experience with managing a CRM system from a sales perspective. Additionally, experience with a broader technology stack will be beneficial
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with an ample focus on customer centricity
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
