Job overview

We are seeking a talented and versatile .NET Full Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both frontend and backend development using the .NET framework, enabling them to contribute to all aspects of software development. The .NET Full Stack Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative software solutions that meet business requirements and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Technical leadership:

Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers, including task assignment, code reviews, and mentoring.
Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
Lead by example through active participation in development tasks and projects.

• Architecture and Design:

Define the technical architecture and design of software solutions, including frontend and backend components, databases, APIs, and integrations.

Collaborate with architects and senior developers to make strategic technical decisions and drive architectural improvements.

Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools to recommend adoption based on business requirements and technical feasibility.

• Development and implementation:

Lead the development and implementation of software solutions using the .NET framework, including frontend and backend components.

Design and develop complex features and functionalities, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and project requirements.

Perform hands-on coding, debugging, and troubleshooting as needed to support project delivery.

• Team collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, QA engineers, and stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, ensuring alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.

Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing within the development team.

• Mobile App development:

Design and develop native mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms using programming languages such as Ionic, or React Native.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and enhancements for mobile applications.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of mobile applications by implementing best practices and optimizing code.

• UI/UX design:

Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for mobile applications.

Translate design wireframes and mockups into high-quality mobile app interfaces, ensuring consistency and adherence to design guidelines.

• Quality Assurance and testing:

Ensure the quality and reliability of software solutions through effective testing strategies, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.

Establish and maintain automated testing frameworks and processes to support continuous integration and delivery.

• Documentation and reporting:

Create and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design documents, and development guidelines.

Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, status, and risks to stakeholders and leadership.

• Full Stack development:

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end solutions using the .NET framework for both frontend and backend components.

Develop user interfaces, web applications, and backend services using Angular, MVC, Web API, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.

Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces that enhance user experience and usability.

• Backend development:

Design and develop server-side applications, APIs, and database integrations using C# and the .NET framework.

Implement RESTful APIs to enable communication between frontend and backend systems, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.

• Frontend development:

Develop dynamic and interactive web interfaces using frontend frameworks such as Angular, React native, or React.js.

Implement client-side validation, form submissions, and asynchronous data loading to enhance user interaction and responsiveness.

• Database integration:

Integrate frontend and backend components with databases, including SQL Server, or other relational database management systems.

Design database schemas, write optimized queries, and implement data access layers to support application functionality.

• Testing and Quality Assurance:

Write unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software solutions.

Perform code reviews and collaborate with QA engineers to identify and address issues in a timely manner.

• Documentation and maintenance:

Create technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, API documentation, and user manuals.

Maintain and enhance existing software applications by implementing new features, optimizations, and bug fixes.

• Collaboration and communication:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, QA engineers, and other developers, to understand requirements and deliver integrated solutions.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates, report progress, and address issues.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Proven experience as a .NET Full Stack Developer or Software Developer, with a minimum of eight years of experience.
• Proficiency in C# programming language and the .NET Core framework, including Angular, Web API, and Entity Framework.
• Strong frontend development skills with experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks such as Angular, React native or Ionic.
• Experience with database development and SQL, including database design, optimization, and normalization.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, TFS, bitbucket), Agile development practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
