Industry Sales Lead - Financial Service

We seek an Industry Sales Lead to join our newly established Industry Sales & Complex Deals team within our private market division; KMD Business. The team play a pivotal role in developing our business within the Financial Services industry. Our Industry Sales Leads act as knowledge centers to orchestrate sales and realize synergies across the sales teams of our Business Units as well as the Client Executives managing our large accounts. Key success criteria for the position include new client acquisition, increased cross selling, value proposition integration and improved brand awareness in the strategic industries.

Complex, not complicated

The Industry Sales & Complex Deals team work across KMD Business and subsidiaries to integrate value propositions, drive business development and close large client contracts. Our main goal is to help clients make better decisions and propose integrated solutions to industry specific business issues. We take great pride in developing simple solutions to the complex business challenges that our clients face.

 

Responsibilities

  • Drive business development and new client acquisition within Financial Services
  • Build business relationships at C-level and among key stakeholders and advisors
  • Grow strategic industry clients through insight-driven cross selling
  • Increase brand awareness in relevant industry fora and among relevant stakeholders
  • Develop industry blueprint for our “full stack” value proposition to the target industries
  • Exhibit strong industry thought leadership (business & IT) to orchestrate sales around a common value proposition and industry approach
  • Coach and assist Account Executives and Sales Managers to integrate value proposition and illustrate the cross-business unit synergies
  • Anchor a consultative selling modus across sales activities in the strategic industry
  • Show operational excellence in daily pipeline management, forecasting, pre-sales coordination and client interaction

 

Qualifications

  • You hold an academic degree in business or IT
  • You have extensive experience within consultative sales – preferably within Financial Services
  • You have deep insights into the business challenges and industry trends of the industry
  • You are structured, analytically skilled and have strong commercial acumen
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You are professionally persistent and capable of building trust at executive level
  • You have a proven track record of building relevant value propositions and closing deals
