Commercial Enablement Lead Specialist

You will be part of the Global Key Account Management and Commercial Development department in the CSO area, and you will report to the Vice President - Global KAM and Commercial Development.

We expect you to lead the Value Communication area within the global Commercial Development Program including the deployment of all Insight selling activities. As a main contributor and enabler to several commercial forums and when partnering directly with customer facing colleagues globally, you will have an important impact on our customer loyalty and business results.

We look forward to experiencing your ability to catch and communicate the value essence crisp and clear when you facilitate engaging workshops with our customer fronting colleagues in all six Sales Business Units.

Your two main areas will be:

1. Value Communication/ Insight selling Change Agent:

  • Develop and implement roadmap for Value communication & Insight Sales
  • Facilitate, Train and Coach to specific commercial behaviours
  • Partner with sales and marketing to develop and implement Value Communication/Insight Selling - reinforcing activities, communications, and ongoing development activities
  • Enable collaboration between power plant sales, marketing, market intelligence, technical sales and service sales to support the development of insight stories (Insight Messages - Value Propositions)
  • Develop and manage a Value communication & Insight Selling Scorecard for the organization
  • Track, review, update and share successful Insight Selling stories and insight-led conversations in the field
  • Lead the Insight Selling Community and collaborate with global Marketing in maintaining the insight library
  • Work with product and marketing teams to ensure marketing messages, collateral and communications support an insight-led approach
  • Partner with sales leaders and managers to provide effective Coaching and other sustainment activities
  • Support customer facing colleagues in tailoring customer insights
  • Coach the Sales Force on a tactical level before meetings to support them in taking control of the conversation
  • Scout for new significant areas of messaging
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert on Value Communication/Insight Selling

2. Global KAM and Commercial Development team member:
  • Sparring partner and close collaborator to the Head of Commercial Development
  • Collaborator in the KAM programme
  • Significant contributor to several commercial forums

  • Proven skills in successfully leading transformation activities and projects
  • 4+ years' commercial experience in global B2B companies, ideally in complex or energy related industries (e.g. OEMs, Utilities, Infrastructure, and Development etc.)
  • Master level/MBA educational background
  • Strong commercial communication skills
  • Solid business and commercial acumen
  • Good quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

The ideal candidate:
  • Curious learner and understands how to collaborate across functions and cultures
  • Great listening skills and open to give and receive feedback
  • Strong facilitation and workshop planning skills
  • Highly flexible and has the ability to easily adapt to new/changing situations
  • Holds a practical sense of what works in complex organizations
  • Has energy, determination and judgment, particularly when working with senior stakeholders under tight deadlines
  • Experience in coaching senior leaders on commercial skills and behaviors
  • Must have strong communication skills in English, both orally and written.

Additional information
Your primary work location will be in Copenhagen as part on the global CSO team (Madrid or Hamburg could be considered for excellent candidates). You should expect travel activities of approximately 30-40 days per year globally. Expect periods of very high workload, especially up to the Commercial Leadership Forum.
