Team Leader to Business Development Credit Risk Reporting, Group Functions Information & Reporting

GFIR is a unit in Nordea, and our mission is to develop and maintain common information and reporting through unified processes, organisation and platform. When joining GFIR, you enter a rapidly growing area, performing both regulatory and business reporting on behalf of various stakeholders within and outside Nordea. Our aim is to enhance common ways of working and continuously improve our processes, by having the ownership and business competence in processes and applications for Capital-, Liquidity-, Financial-, Risk- and Tax reporting.

In the role, you will, on behalf of Group Risk Management and Control, provide business development services related to the processes and application areas where GFIR is the owner. This you do in accordance with relevant Group Function and Group strategies, principles, methods, procedures and standards.

You will be part of GFIR Business Development, responsible for delivering the business related commitments in projects and improvements.

As leading others, you will:

  • Be responsible for the business development services and project portfolio related to credit risk reporting towards Group Risk Management and Control, including running and continuing improving the business requirements process.
  • Be responsible for providing the business requirements related to our solutions in related change initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, such as customers and IT.
  • Through your team, provide experts to projects and to conduct root-cause analysis performed within the daily reporting processes.
  • Be part of Business Development Capital, Treasury and Credit Risk reporting management team, and together implement the strategic focus areas of GFIR.
The preferred location for this position is Stockholm. If located in Helsinki or Copenhagen, weekly travelling is expected.

The qualifications you need
You have an analytical mind set with high motivation, result orientation and a drive to deliver with high quality on time. You have experience in project management and an understanding of regulatory reporting requirements.

We believe that you are a high-performing individual with the following qualifications:

  • Leadership experience.
  • Experience of running complex change initiatives, and you are familiar with the most common change methodologies, like agile development, etc.
  • Stakeholder management experience.
  • Team player with the ability to also drive tasks independently.
  • An understanding of reporting requirements related to the area.
  • Preferably experience of working with data flows and reporting processes.
  • Business knowledge within Banking.
Finally, you have a relevant academic degree, and proficiency in English.
