Group Strategy and M&A Manager at Ramboll Group, Copenhagen headquarter

The position we offer

Ramboll Group Function Strategy and M&A is looking to strengthen the team with a senior Strategy and M&A professional. The focus of the role is to participate in driving international Group wide strategy and M&A projects, leading individual work streams and medium/small scale project initiatives. In particular you will play a key role in supporting our business units in M&A case evaluations and deal related financial analysis and modelling.

As a team we pride ourselves in our resourcefulness and work on a variety of initiatives. On any given day, our work could include e.g. M&A target screening, Business unit strategic development, Board of Directors and Senior Executive level decision material preparation and M&A deal execution.

Your responsibilities as a Group Strategy and M&A Manager

You will be working as an integral member of the Group Strategy and M&A team and in the role as Manager you are expected to;

•Interface with the Group and Line organization on a range of strategic and M&A related topics
•Develop, define and review financial models and valuation analyses through a demonstrated proficiency in corporate finance and accounting theory
•Be a thought partner for deal teams in commercial and financial diligence
•Prepare and present materials used in senior management meetings, covering topics such as strategic alternatives, business intelligence, benchmarking and general financial performance
•Manage all stages of transaction executions, from the screening phase through to closing and integration
•Develop Strategy and M&A structural capital/Toolbox and support colleges by serving as a teaching resource and through the delegation of appropriate sub work streams
•Build and maintain an internal network of business unit finance- and project managers

Expectations and Key success factors

As a person you are goal oriented with a very strong drive, allowing you to work independently as well as in a true cross-border team environment on multiple engagements. In order to be successful in the role we believe you should have;

•Leadership skills with the ability to coach junior colleagues throughout the organization

Essential requirements

•3-5 years of relevant M&A and Strategy experience from a leading Management Consultant, Investment Bank or Corporate Strategy/M&A function in a project management role
•Experience of strategy development
•Relevant academic background e.g. MSc. in Business/Finance or Engineering
