The two positions are for the candidates who are interested in operations and investment processes and wants to gain insights in to the value chain of the largest Asset Manager in the Nordics. Are you that candidate and do you possess great analytical skills, energy and a positive mindset? We are looking for two students to the following teams:

Settlement, Securities & FX Operations

Where we are responsible for the trade flow after execution for securities and FX. We foresee that trade volumes will increase over the next years, and therefore seek to continue our work using data to optimize and automate processes to ensure scalability. We have high ambitions in the post-trade space and are working on implementing new strategic initiatives surrounding the life cycle of a trade across various asset class types.

Derivatives Operations

Where we are responsible for all the operational matters of the Derivatives; both Listed derivatives, OTC, clearing as well as Collateral Management. We foresee an increase in the volumes as well as the use of new derivatives over the next years and we have an ambition to work on optimization and automation of processes to ensure scalability. The student will mainly work with Futures and Options, but for the right candidate it will be possible to try “a little of everything”. The team is also focusing on changes imposed by regulation.

What you will be doing:

You will join Back Office and be a central part of the Asset Management value chain under Operations & Technology (O&T). Nordea Asset Management is responsible for all managed investment products in Nordea Asset Management and manages the development, implementation, running, support and management of our asset management product offering. Back Office consists of six different departments and app. 50 people located in Copenhagen and Lisbon

The role is based in Copenhagen and we expect you to work 15 – 20 hours per week.
