Accountant to PtP Team

We are seeking a passionate Accountant to join our growing team. As a key member of the Ascendis Pharma team, you will play a crucial role in handling all Accounts Payables and Travel Expense related processes. You will play a key role in coordinating and establishing firm procedures in the related accounting tasks.

You will join a team of three accountants plus four student assistants, and report directly to Kaare Daugaard Hansen, the PtP Teamlead, who is based in Hellerup, Denmark. You will be based out of the Hellerup office as well.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Daily accounting, primarily Accounts Payable and Travel Expense.
• Handling of invoices in ExFlow.
• Contact with vendors.
• VAT and statistical reporting.
• Resolvement and follow up on issues on PO’s.
• Monthly and quarterly closing tasks, i.e. accruals and reconciliations.
• Superuser in D365 Accounts Payable and ExFlow.
• Accounting related support to the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

You hold a relevant educational background – e.g. Accounting, Finance, Office (EUX) or similar – and +3 years of experience from a similar role.

A solid knowledge of ERP-systems Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 FO) is preferred.

Travel: 5-10 days per year.
