The position
Novo Nordisk is actively acquiring external assets to enhance its product portfolio. Many of these acquired products come with an externalized supply chain. To facilitate this process, as Acquisition Partner, you will work closely with internal teams to recommend and execute acquisitions as well as securing sourcing knowledge sitting with acquired asset is leveraged during integration for maximizing the value for Novo Nordisk.

Your role also involves participating in the continuous development of our processes and systems, actively sharing best practices and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as external regulations.
You will be working in a global organization; hence you should expect up to 22 days of travel activities per year.

About the department
Alliance, Acquisition & Product Portfolio Management is a Center of Excellence that covers both Global Strategic Outsourcing & Devices and Strategic Sourcing Inbound Materials & Services units. We are responsible for securing that we have suppliers in place that can support Novo Nordisk’s worldwide pharmaceutical production. Through collaboration with our international stakeholders and supplier networks, we ensure the availability of the supply needed to develop and produce products that help millions of people around the world live with chronic diseases.
You will join the Acquisitions department and be surrounded by several experienced Category Managers, Negotiators, Sourcing professionals, and experienced leaders, allowing you to continue your development. We invest significant resources in developing our employees through coaching, frequent feedback, formal training, and challenging responsibilities.
