Associate Manager (New API Facility)

The position

As an Associate Manager in PPV (Purification Plant 5) your primary role will be to lead employees in your support team and set direction. You will manage your team based on respect and humility and have a strong focus on their personal development. The new factory is currently being designed by your team and other teams in the PPV organization. Your area of responsibility will be within production support more specific for various utility systems such as purified water, ethanol, nitrogen, alkaline, acid and solvents. Some sections are already under construction, and soon equipment will be tested and qualified. The team overall purpose is to get us ready to operate the new facility and support the core operations. Currently the team consist of employees covering process scientists, engineers, and technicians and the team size is expecting to grow over the years to 15-20 employees. Your key responsibilities will include the following: Supporting your employees through sparring and decision making. Prioritization and removal of roadblocks. Ensuring that the right competences are available, developed. Hiring more employees according to the needs defined in the ramp up plans for the upcoming facility. Collaboration internally with other line managers, project managers and employees in other parts of the project organization is an essential part of your job. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you: Have a relevant academic degree e.g., within engineering. Have experience with utility systems such as purified water, ethanol, nitrogen, alkaline, acid and solvents. Ideally worked within the medical and/or pharma industry and have solid understanding of GMP. Possess 3 years of management experience e.g. from manufacturing or other relevant areas. Communicate fluently in English. You are a strong people manager and lead through respect and humility. You have a strong focus ensuring an ongoing dialogue with your employees to drive performance and develop of the individual and the organization. Your natural curiosity will be crucial to your success, as will your skills in coordinating and collaborating efficiently throughout the organization. About the Department We are currently building a new factory and our department will continue to expand over the coming years as we go from project phase to production.
