The Position
As Associate Manager of our External Supply Chain team, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the day-to-day management of employees. You will be responsible for our contract manufacturing network within pen needle production, covering production in Japan and Thailand, with plans to expand further in the EU and US.
Your main tasks will include:
• People management, including safety, people development, change management, etc.
• Daily management of activities ensuring customer demand targets are achieved and supply chain performance improvements.
• Daily responsibility for a cross-functional team and managing daily board meetings.
• Setting the direction, showing leadership, and fostering the development of the team.
• Initiating and managing projects in close cooperation with various functional areas.
You will join a management team of four. The culture in the management team is inclusive, collaborative, fun, and professional. Qualifications
To succeed in the position, you have:
• Solid management experience with good people skills and a leadership toolbox
• Solid experience in supply chain operations, procurement, contract manufacturing, or similar.
• Skills within supplier relations and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

About the Department
You will be part of the Supply Chain Management department, which is responsible for the global end-to-end supply chain of pen needles. The department consists of three highly professional teams who work very closely together to secure the supply of pen needles worldwide.

The department is part of Needle Manufacturing & Sourcing, which is overall responsible for the global end-to-end supply chain of Novo Nordisk's pen needles, including both internal and external production, quality assurance, and manufacturing development. We are organized in eight departments with approximately 500 employees dedicated to ensuring the pen needle supply to Novo Nordisk.
