We are expanding our production capacity, and we are looking for an Associate Manager to one of our support teams in the new production facility in Odense. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of people living with serious chronic diseases and want to contribute to life-changing careers, then read on and apply today for a life-changing career.

The position

As Associate Manager you will lead a team of 10-20 GMP and technical supporters and you will be part of the Operational Readiness management team.

To begin with your focus will be to recruit and onboard the team to succeed in being ready for production.

In general, your main tasks will be to:

· Lead and develop your team.

· Ensure the right prioritizations and strategies are executed.

· Create overview, coordinate, and plan your team's efforts.

· Be role model in a LEAN culture where openness, honesty and focus on continuous improvements are natural parts of your personality.

Through your work, you will have a close collaboration with the operational teams, the project execution organization, the quality organization, and a wide range of stakeholders. You will be working from both Høje Taastrup and Odense.

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

· An academic degree in the natural sciences, engineering, or a similar field

· Some managerial experience with a leadership toolbox

· Ability to manage change and ensure team engagement.

· Experience in GMP production, LEAN, or other technical backgrounds.

· Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

 

About the department

Novo Nordisk is significantly increasing its manufacturing capacity across all areas to serve more patients in the coming years.  Our department is working to expand the capacity of our Biotech and Rare Disease production. The highly automated facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products. It will expand our capacity to serve more people living with serious chronic diseases including rare diseases.  Our new organization has just started its growth journey, and this is a unique chance to be part of a start-up environment within a large multinational organisation.
