At Coop Trading, we are looking for interns (students) for our procurement and Supply Chain team - starting in January 2024.

Coop Trading is a Nordic procurement organization that negotiates Nordic agreements and develops products for our own private label brands (EVM) on behalf of Coop's retail chains in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and SOK in Finland. Our shared EVM portfolio includes both food and daily non-food products under the brands: Xtra, Coop/Rainbow, and Änglamark.

As an intern, you will be part of one of our three sourcing teams and will be assigned to a buyer (International Trade and Marketing student), a Group Assistant, or our Supply Chain team (Logistics Management student), who will serve as your internship mentor.

Some of the tasks you will work on include:

• Product registration for our four customers – Coop in the Nordic countries
• Preparation and updating of the Product and Price list (PPL) for our four customers
• Gathering volume data from our four customers before negotiations and tender setup
• Tasks related to logistics optimization (pallet optimization, delivery form calculations, etc.)
• Handling of production samples
• Co-organizer of product presentation meetings
• Supplier and partner communication and support
• Tasks related to Supplier Performance, Service Level, and Forecast

Your background and work style:

• You can either be a Logistics Management student or studying International Trade and Marketing – we tailor tasks and have experience with interns from both fields
• Good knowledge of the Office suite and a general understanding of IT systems
• Curious and proactive
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Service-oriented and good at teamwork
• Proficient in both Danish and English, both spoken and written
