The Opportunity
The position of Bids and Tender Specialist, Nordics is within our Structural Heart Division. The primary location for this role is Norway but also other locations across the Nordic region is an option for the right candidate .
As a Bids & Tender Specialist you will work close with our sales teams in bid and tender processes detecting, processing, completing, presenting and dispatching bids and tenders in the Nordic region.
The role is hybrid workplace with main focus on detecting new business opportunities in tenders, processing new contracts, prices changes and contract extensions. The Bids and tender specialist participates in tender process development and takes care of annual/quarterly reports to hospitals from ordered products and service or size of the purchases. Part of the role is also to support sales and tender analysis for sales teams and management, monitor hospitals and sales representatives consignments, support business coordinator and to investigate price discrepancies and take appropriate actions.
What You'll Do:
Coordinate and perform tender procedures with the sales divisions: get tender information from customers, inform sales team of items attending tenders, secure offer prices and confirm the price on distributors tender web. Prepare tender documentation: tender applications, letter of commitments, tender bank guarantees, legal documents and product information. Tender submission on time through electronic systems or in paper format if needed. Prepare tender contracts and prices lists after receiving tender results. Be a permanent advisor to sales, marketing and general management in relation to all price offerings and contracts and support our business coordinator on contracting, PSA`s and congress planning. Bring new ideas to the table / Challenge the status quo for commercial offerings. Support the sales organization with forecast updates from Power BI and give input data for internal business reviews. Be a part of sales organization to support with any customer administration for the sales team such as professional service fee and registrations for exhibitions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or master's degree in economy, finance or similar or equivalent experience with public procurement A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in similar role Knowledge of bid and tendering processes in Scandinavia. Familiarity with major Scandinavian hospitals and buying groups Knowledge of legal language used in tenders and contracts Strong verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English. Experience with MS Office and other IT applications, strong experience with excel Strong project management and teamwork skills Strong analytical skills paired with prioritizing skills Delivers; gets the job done, meets or exceeds expectations and exhibits a sense of urgency on critical time dependent issues.
