Category Manager

Are you the result driven and ambitious commercial expert ready to take the next challenge? Do you want to work with globally known brands such as Panodil, Otrivin, Nicotinell, Voltaren, and Sensodyne in pharmacy and grocery trade sectors?

Job purpose

As Category Manager your role is to work closely with the Haleon commercial sales & marketing teams and customers to deliver category thought leadership for our brands to drive sustainable and profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Localizing the Category vision & strategy in cooperation with DaNoFi Shopper & Category Manager
• Providing strong support to deliver in market execution of the category plan and proactively review performance
• Providing actionable category insights based on strong analyses of the consumption data
• Providing best in class assortment and shelf management services, supported by leading edge tools. Maintaining the data and product information for the tools.
• Managing the cooperation with our consumption data providers such as DLI and Nielsen.
• Providing support for the customers in developing a long-term plan for their categories
• Leading category projects with customers

Why you? 

Qualifications & Skills: 

• University degree in relevant subject or equivalent
• Min. 2 years-experience in category management, preferably in FMCG industry
• Fluent in Danish and English
• Understanding of Danish retail landscape & tactics
• Strong commercial thinking and business acumen
• Good influencing & presentation skills
• Strong project management skills
• IT, Digital and analytically savvy with excellent knowledge of MS Excel. Experience in space management programs, preferably JDA Space planning.
• High energy level with an appetite for execution & growth mindset
