Your core responsibilities will involve:
Defining the strategic direction with a focus on the core business and growth plans
Close collaboration with other companies within the group on continuous improvements, best practices, and knowledge sharing
Developing existing and new markets and customers, including trading products from sister companies and the development of new customer solutions
Ensuring profitability by optimising processes and workflows and realising synergies
Strengthening the market position with strategic customers, collaborators, and suppliers
Ensuring profitability through complexity reduction, process, and cost optimisation across the value chain
Fostering collaboration across the group with a focus on a "one company mindset"
Requirements
Industrial leadership profile with commercial acumen and execution power
As the new CEO, you will have immediate responsibility for the strategic and commercial development, with a focus on implementation and execution. You come from a production company – preferably process industry with 24/7/365 production running. Your educational background is technical / engineering and includes experience as a CEO or Managing Director from a similar role, or maybe of a subsidiary within a larger group. Alternatively, you may view this role as the next natural step in your career, transitioning from your current position as COO with commercial acumen and an interest in a larger industrial company. Regardless, you possess extensive leadership experience, an understanding of cultural differences, and experience in cross-border interaction with sister companies or mother company. Experience with Eastern European culture is an advantage, and you are prepared to be visible, present, and assertive in the group of companies spanning different countries. As an individual, you have the ability to translate data-driven strategic analyses into the right tactical and operational actions. With financial KPIs and a solid understanding of balance sheets, you communicate and create clarity about the direction, ensuring support for change. Additionally, you are proficient in both Danish and English at a negotiation level.
