We are seeking an experienced and skilled Client and Solution Technology Manager to assist Lenovo in advancing solution selling to the next level.
To excel in this role, you'll integrate Lenovo technology with industry best practices, emphasizing Lenovo's value to our customers. You will utilize your track record of effective technical management, understanding of computer hardware and software systems, and awareness of overall market trends.
You need to anticipate the company's direction and how technology will impact business strategies.
To achieve that, you will guide a team of highly skilled technologists and advocates who excel in their respective fields.
Your responsibilities are to: • Offer in-depth solution knowledge and product expertise across Notebooks, Desktops, Visuals, and workplace solutions as a pre-sales resource. Present Lenovo Technology, trends, and solutions at customer meetings and events.• Manage a team of 8 Presales Client Technologists and Large Account Field Technical support post-sales• Collaborate with the Sales team to finalize selected large deal opportunities. Utilize specialist knowledge to identify new opportunities and enhance existing ones in the pipeline.• Establish an RFP response/Bid Management function with your team to support larger RFP responses.• Deliver training to Sales teams to enhance their understanding of our portfolio and differentiate Lenovo in the PC-based Client Solutions market.• Interface with our Infrastructure Solutions Group and Services and Solutions group• Track, assess, and monitor technology performance metrics. Initiate thought leadership, innovation, and creativity. You demonstrate: •Extensive experience in a technical sales role in the IT industry•Effective problem-solving skills and a commitment to action, strong customer presentation skills•Ability to effectively manage virtual and remote teams as a collaborative team member•Skill in aligning people and influencing decision-making within a collaborative environment•Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and fostering a diverse workplace•Fluency in English and a Nordic languageWhat Lenovo can offer You
