About the Role: We are seeking a QS or Contract Engineer to join our dynamic and diverse team at the Køge Hospital Project Team I/S. You will be responsible for overseeing the management, drafting, review, and administration of contracts between the client, contractors, and subcontractors. You will ensure that all parties fulfill their contractual obligations, manage contractual risks, and contribute to the project's financial and operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, review, and administration of subcontracts agreements.
- Assist in managing subcontractor correspondence, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Support the Procurement team in drafting and negotiating contracts, including reviewing terms and conditions.
- Handle change requests: Evaluate and process change orders or variation requests from contractors and subcontractors. Ensure that any changes to the project scope are documented, approved, and reflected in the contract terms.
- Assist in the evaluation of subcontractor claims, variations, and payment applications.
- Maintain accurate records of all contract-related documents and correspondence.
- Provide support in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial tracking of projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure contract requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, contract management, or a related role (internships or relevant projects may be considered).
- Basic understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and ABs construction contracts (knowledge of other forms of contract, Such as FIDIC, NEC, etc., is a plus).
- Professional proficiency in English, both verbally and written.
- High level of communication skills and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and MS Outlook
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability with a strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
