As our new Director, EU and Japan Data & Analytics, you will be responsible for the operational implementation of commercial systems and collaborating with in-country Commercial teams, in preparation for the launch and ongoing management of our endocrinology rare disease (ERD) portfolio throughout the EU and Japan.
This role defines and builds the data/analytics efforts for the EU commercial organization, and pending go-to-market structure in Japan.

You will be part of the Commercial Strategy team with colleagues based in Denmark, US and Germany and stakeholders across the globe.
The position will be based in Copenhagen, Denmark and will report directly to the Head of Global Commercial Strategy – Endocrinology who is based in the US.
You will be responsible for:
Your professional qualifications
You hold a relevant academic degree – preferably a master’s degree in a Mathematics related field or MBA.
We expect you to have 8+ years of sales operations experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry (which may include work as a consultant or supplier to the industry). Experience in Specialty or Rare Disease are an advantage.
You have a demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross functional teams and a proven history of working and delivering on multiple projects simultaneously, with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
You possess extensive experience supporting technical design of commercial systems and implementing applications (CRM/SFA).
Furthermore, you have advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Power BI is required - and of course you are proficient in English at a professional level, both written and spoken.
As a person, you are a strong team player, proactive in nature and a true self-starter.

Travel: Ability to travel up to 20% of the time internationally
Your place of work will be in the Ascendis Pharma facility in a modern office facility in Tuborg Havn in Hellerup, with a view of the harbour, the canals, and the sea. We offer flexibility in working hours and the possibility to work partly from home.
