We are looking for a driven and empowering leader to join us as a Field Sales Manager in Region North/Mid Jutland. Our ideal candidate is passionate about developing a high-performing sales team and driving results through collaboration and innovation.


The Position

The key responsibilities for this role will be to drive, develop and effectively implement commercial strategies to maximize the potential of Novo Nordisk cardiometabolic sales business to lead and coach the KAM teams on sales, planning and performance as well as to drive the Regional Team to strong execution with common goals and clear roles and responsibilities. More in detail your responsibilities would include:

  • Drive the sales effort, continuous follow-up on sales performance and building sales programmes/training as well as drive successful execution of plans to maximize business potential and grow Novo Nordisk sales in diabetes and obesity.
  • Ensure continuous development and motivation of the field force in the cardiometabolic sales execution team, as well as continuous follow up and review of relevant Sales Effectiveness KPIs.
  • Identify regional/national business opportunities; leverage the educational programme in all districts; liaise with team members including marketing, medical, market access, education, and clinical to maximise the sales of Novo Nordisk products.
  • Drive the cardiometabolic primary and secondary care teams’ orchestration of customer centric communication in all channels, i.e. segmentation of customers for broadcast communication and rep. triggering of digital follow-up of individual customers.
  • Ensure that field feedback from the cardiometabolic sales execution team is transferred to the brand teams, and other relevant departments/teams. Providing insights and overview over market dynamics, sales development, competitor activity and investments.



The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, including the ability to communicate in an impactful and engaging manner, and demonstrate empathy and caring for others. The ability to motivate the teams for high performance, inspire and support others in times of change as well as the ability to build trust and relationships across internal and external stakeholders. In addition, the ideal candidates meet the following requirements:

  • People management experience, sales rep or Brand Lead management experience
  • LiF Education, Nurse/MD or commercial school background
  • Previous experience within Pharma, or in Health care organization is a plus
  • Fluent in Danish


About the Department

In Cardiometabolic Sales Execution team we are 6 people responsible for driving the sales of our cardiometabolic product portfolio (Diabetes, obesity and CV). You will join a team of highly dedicated, fun, and engaged individuals and be at the forefront of driving change within cardiometabolic disease to benefit thousands of patients.
