We are developing new assets as part of our integration journey as well as taking over existing assets from Telia Company. In that relations we are establishing a new position to take over responsibility for the financial follow up of these assets
Your new role | fixed asset accounting
Manage the fixed asset accounting process in accordance with Danish GAAP, including recording asset acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation expenses.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies related to fixed assets, including Danish GAAP regulations.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper capitalization and treatment of fixed assets, adhering to Danish accounting principles.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to fixed assets
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning related to fixed assets
Conduct periodic physical inventory audits of fixed assets to verify the accuracy of records
Provide support to internal and external auditors during audits and reviews
Who are you | experience within financial controlling
You have an analytical and structured approach and a good ability to communicate complex information to others. Working towards deadlines comes naturally to you.
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in fixed asset accounting or a similar role, with knowledge of Danish GAAP regulations.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, particularly as they relate to Danish GAAP.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software systems. Knowledge of SAP or Oracle ERP systems is a plus.
