The position will be based in G4S Denmark and will be a member of the G4S Global IT Team.

The Application Support Engineer will primarily focus on ensuring the stable operation of business applications and the built-in processes which support the company's needs. The Application Support Engineer must work in collaboration with respective departments, ensuring that the operation and incoming support tasks are carried out working with the rest of the department(s) and within the framework agreed with the Global IT leadership.

As Application Support Engineer you will be responsible for

Handling and processing incoming support cases via the Helpdesk system.

Operational maintenance, development and support on business applications

Key contact for internal and external stakeholders

Participation in Project Work, as well as obtaining estimates in connection with Change Requests

Perform operational tasks

Prepare and maintain documentation, procedures and guidelines

Cross Country working

Other business as required

Daily application support of business applications, with primarily focus on:

ServiceNow , system administrator, support end-users, interfaces. Collaborate with business stakeholders

Genesys Cloud Telephony:

Maintain the Genesys Cloud telephony system, including call routing configurations, agent management, and integration with other business applications.

Provide technical support to end-users and resolve telephony-related issues in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to business operations.

SharePoint Intranet and Archive:

Manage and support the SharePoint intranet platform, including document management, collaboration sites.

Assist in maintenance of SharePoint workflows, forms, and custom solutions to meet business requirements and enhance productivity.

Supporting a variety of business applications surrounding our SOC such as automation and dispatch software.

The Ideal Candidate:
Performance Driven, Excellent in Teamwork and Collaboration Management. Customer thinking, external and internal. Working with high complexity and ability to keep track of project assignments. Strong communication skills on all levels. Excellent attention to detail, Ability to promote team working and openness. Ability to work with changing priorities. Knowledge of ITIL is an advantage but not a requirement. It is important that the person can communicate fully in both Danish and English.
