Global Procurement Subject Matter Expert

This role is responsible for coordinating people, processes, and systems across designated subject area. The subject area is global, end-to-end and deals with difficult processes within a function.
This role drives the continuous improvement of the Procurement processes and frameworks, as well as contributing to special projects and other supply chain and business strategy initiatives.
This person is a well-rounded individual who encompasses analytical, communication, people and leadership skills with strong business and commercial acumen. They can work under pressure and cross-functionally, to drive alignment.

What we're looking for:

Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree, in Supply Chain, Business, IT or a related field

of supply chain management experience is designated SME field

The following skills:

Data-driven with demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

Business process knowledge

Strong analytical and conceptual skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

to identify key insights and critical thinking to prioritize and focus on the highest-value opportunities or the biggest risks

Demonstrated senior level presence

Experience with standard work creation, value stream mapping and other standard production system tools

Experience with ERP systems such as SAP 

Experience in project management and change management is highly preferred

Abilities: Global and domestic travel up to 20%

·Develop and maintain best practices, policies and standard work for work area based on

·Identify areas for process improvement and develop solutionsusing to strengthen processes and problems in focus area

·Establish KPIs and leverage reporting and analytics to track progress and monitor success infocus area

·Support and coach Procurement teams to deliver best in class process

·Training and workshop facilitator for new and existing Procurement resources on leveraging supply chain solutions to their fullest potential.

·Ensure that Procurementprocesses systems and/or processes are “fit for purpose” and compliance measures are in place

·Additionally, he/she will contribute to projects by playing the role of subject matter expert with .

·Develop collaborative relationships with internal and external customers/stakeholders to deliver integrated processes

·Be a genuine dual citizen of your team/function/business unit/the enterprise by working across boundaries, navigating complexities, and effectively interfacing with leaders across the organization
