The position
As a Global Project Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our expanding diabetes pipeline. Your primary responsibility will be in orchestrating a cross functional commercial sub-team that provide commercial insights, analysis, and recommendations to the Product Development Plan. You will lead the cross functional launch orchestration in key affiliates. Finally, you will contribute to strategic portfolio assessments related to the overall growth strategy of the diabetes pipeline.
Some of your responsibilities will be to:
Lead the development of the commercial strategy for a new therapy option for people living with diabetes including preparing for key governance interactions as well as be part of Global Project Team.
Collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders to lead the development of the Target Product Profile (TPP) and commercial claims and provide commercial input to trial design.
Lead and orchestrate the cross functional and cross therapeutic area launch activities towards key affiliates.
Project manage ad hoc opportunity assessments, encompassing commercial, medical, scientific, and regulatory aspects, in collaboration with the cross-functional team.
Lead work streams across the 5Ds (Drug, Data, Diagnostics, Digital, Device) to maximize commercial opportunities.
The job is located in Søborg, Denmark.
Qualifications
Combined with 10+ years of experience in commercial roles within pharmaceutical industry.
Advanced degree in Business and/or Natural Sciences preferred.
Background in developing commercial strategy and leading commercial development projects. To have global or regional expertise will be an advantage, but not a must.
Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders along the value chain across levels, as well as solid understanding of timelines and regulations in the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data, conducting market research, and generating insights to drive product strategy.
As a person, you are innovative and customer oriented. You have excellent communication skills and can effectively analyse and convey complex messages in a simple manner. You feel comfortable engaging with stakeholders at different levels and from all parts of the organization. Most importantly, you are genuinely excited about joining our journey of shaping the diabetes market and our future products to make a real difference for people living with diabetes.
About the Department
The team is part of the Diabetes area under Commercial Strategy and Corporate Affairs. It is a driven, team-oriented, and international environment, and you will work with colleagues from headquarters and all over the world. The project team is responsible for developing and executing the lifecycle management and commercial strategies for the expanding diabetes pipeline.
As Global Director you are reporting to the Commercial Vice President of Injectable GLP-1 Diabetes, who oversees the commercial product development strategies.
