Are you our new Sustainability & ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) Programme Lead? We are growing and are therefore looking for a colleague to ensure that all our sustainability initiatives and actions are realized across the Scan Global Logistics Group and according to the Sustainability & ESG strategy.

The role will be crucial in growing the integration of Sustainability & ESG activities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and other business partners to advance corporate sustainability practices and employee engagement in sustainability.


What can you expect?
As the Global Sustainability & ESG Programme Lead, you will co-drive developing and maintaining our roadmap for Sustainability & ESG. You will govern the Sustainability & ESG agenda with a collaborative approach with business, customers, and suppliers, with a strong ability to build relationships, gain credibility, and interact with all Products and Business Units.


The responsibilities you are eager to take on

  • Influence and build support for cross-divisional ESG efforts. 
  • Encourage diverse thinking with the aim of bringing new ideas to the ESG business
  • Help ensure the Sustainability initiatives are well executed and understood, and the efforts are measured to determine and communicate the impact on ESG aspects
  • Develop the company's ESG data and reports as well as communicate ESG-related efforts and results internally and to external parties such as customers
  • Understand, identify and monitor ESG issues in the industry that could affect our business and keep up-to-date with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory trends

    Join us if you:

  • Have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Have a degree in an environmental, social or suitable discipline
  • Possess a balanced and broad understanding of the Sustainability & ESG topics and are keen to stay up-to-date of current and emerging issues and trends
  • Have experience in ESG and Sustainability Engagement 
  • Have strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to influence and deliver concise, well-organized presentations
  • Have the availability and willingness for global travel
  • Are passionate about your work and have a desire to create big impact
  • Project management skills and a willingness to provide training sessions to the organisation
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, and excellent in written and spoken English
