Group Financial Controller

NNIT is looking for an ambitious Group Financial Controller

We are a global business integrated finance unit which focuses on providing value-added services for NNIT's board and Management. NNIT as a company has a history of data-driven decision-making and we are enriched with large amounts of financial data, which the finance function is owning. Therefore, there is a large dependency and trust in the finance function.

Your responsibilities as a Group Financial Controller 

• Provide consolidated data and input to our monthly reports and make sure that they are compliant and delivered timely to the management.
• Participate in the preparation of internal and external consolidated financial statements for quarterly and annual reporting
• Interpretation and development of group accounting principles in accordance with IFRS
• Perform internal control procedures and compliance reviews
• Review of reconciliations in the closing process in cooperation with the accounting department
• Supporting and giving guidance to local finance teams in subsidiaries on special accounting related issues and transactions
• Coordinate with external tax consultants
• Participate in optimizing projects on financial processes and accounting policies as well as maintaining and strengthening internal controls
• Participate in implementation of new ERP and consolidation system

As our new Group Financial Controller, you will be joining a great team of dedicated and professional colleagues working with similar tasks. The team is part of finance with 15 colleagues. You will work out of our Headquarter in Copenhagen, and you will report to the Finance Director. In this position you will be playing a vital role in our month-, quarterly- and year-end procedures relevant to both our internal and external reporting, our financial compliance framework and our finance transformation.

You are eager to learn new things and can adapt to new ways of working quickly, as we continuously rethink our finance processes and build our capabilities within Controlling. This means that you should be curious, ask questions and suggest solutions.

Your qualifications 

Since we are a global company, you will be involved in cross-cultural collaboration. Consequently, it is important that you communicate on a high level in written and verbal English as well as in Danish. Travel is not expected.

• Proven track-record from similar financial controlling position or from your work as an auditor
• Sound analytical skills within financial information
• Strong skills in both bookkeeping, processes and IT, including a good understanding of relationships in systems and processes
• Strong IT skills and is an experienced user of ERP systems, consolidation tools and Excel
• IFRS experience from a Danish based corporation

The ideal profile is currently working as an auditor or as a financial controller and have a solid education as a cand. merc. aud. or HD (R) or equivalent.
