If so, ROCKWOOL is looking for a Group Operational Excellence Project Manager to join our international team. In this role, you will have the chance to develop your talents and travel across Europe, North America, and anywhere in between.
This is who we are
As a member of the Group Operational Excellence team, you will collaborate with 12-14 skilled colleagues to drive improvements in operations and quality management, meet strategic targets, and create a continuous improvement culture. You will also support cross-functional processes and projects.
This is the role
You will get a versatile role and work in teams of 2-4. From the initial data analysis stage, we collaborate closely with our colleagues in the factories to gain a thorough understanding of the potential for improvement. We then test and implement sustainable solutions based on ROCKWOOL best practices and new innovation.
Participate in implementing and developing our Operational Excellence program.
Plan and conduct analyses of our factory operations to identify potential improvements in productivity, output, and quality.
Train and coach colleagues at our factories on how to perform analyses and observations.
Introduce structured problem solving and experimentation using Toyota Kata, and coach individuals and teams until it becomes a part of their shop floor management practice.
Identify and share best practices and group standards throughout the organization.
Create implementation plans, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop follow-up structures to ensure that our projects have a real impact.
Contribute to the development of our operations improvement toolbox, based on Lean principles, digitalization, and continuous improvement.

Moreover, you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you thrive at the shop floor as well as with senior management and you naturally push for optimisations wherever possible. Also, you have excellent intercultural competencies and the flexibility to travel 80-100 days a year within Denmark and internationally. You also bring:
A master of science within industrial engineering or business
3-4 years’ experience from lean manufacturing implementations with a proven track record within operation, preferably from consulting
Analytic and structured way of working
Demonstrated coaching and facilitation skills, allowing you to work at all levels of the organisation
Experience as project manager
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
