Head of Communication, DK

Umbraco, a fast growing tech company, is looking for a talented and experienced Head of Communication to lead our communications team and drive our external and internal communication strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic communications, media relations, and content development, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be a central part of COMA (our Communication and Marketing team), a team of 10 working across Communication, Marketing and Events. The atmosphere is informal and fosters creativity and collaboration. You will be working on-site at either our Copenhagen og Odense office in Denmark.

• Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to enhance brand awareness, reputation, and engagement
• Lead the creation of compelling messaging and content for various channels, including press releases, website content, email. social media, and internal communications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and communication efforts
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, and industry influencers to secure positive press coverage and thought leadership opportunities
• Oversee the organization's public relations efforts, building and maintaining relationships with media outlets and other external partners
• Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on communication matters, including crisis communication and reputation management
• Manage and mentor a team of communications professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
• Monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts and adjust strategies as needed
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in communication and incorporate them into the organization's communication strategies
• Manage crisis communication efforts as needed

Besides your awesome personality we are looking for someone with:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in communication, public relations, marketing, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in communication or public relations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role preferably in the technology industry
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging for various audiences and channels
• Experience managing and mentoring a team of communications professionals
• Strategic thinker with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities

The position:

• Full-time position of 37 hours/week
