In HR Department we contribute to this aspiration by supporting the organization both local and globally.

Your role as HR Support

You will work in collaboration with the HR Team.

You will be involved in local and international projects.

You will also support, maintenance and develop existing systems, to ensure a high level of performance and stability

Fields of responsibility

  • Be the go-to person when it comes to employee experience for all our people in Spain and Italy. This includes keeping up with all administration (vacation, sick leave, special leave, pregnancy, benefits, time management, travelling…) across the employee lifecycle from on- to off boarding.
  • In charge of People paperwork and ensure we are compliant with local legislation (contracts, amendments, reference letters, certificates).
  • Improve our People reporting and ensure its accuracy by managing the data in our People Systems. Also providing data to prepare strategic dashboards and reports.
  • Review payroll and be sparring partner to our external payroll partner.
  • Be part of the onboarding process, gathering withholding and other payroll information, preparing the employment documentation, updating systems, explaining benefit programs, and obtaining signatures for documents.
  • Handle employee trainings arrangements
  • Compiling and maintaining paper, digital and electronic employee records.
  • Support on HR projects for continuous improvement of the employee experience.
  • Support on general tasks to the HR department
  • Your qualifications

  • Bachelor´s degree
  • 3 years of experience in HR Operations/HR Generalist in a Multinational Company
  • Knowledge of employment law, human resources responsibilities and payroll is a must
  • Ability to operate in HR systems (Workday, ADP, SDP)
  • Experience in overseeing and assisting Payroll is a must
  • Knowledge of employee life-cycle in a Company
  • User of Microsoft Office package, with very good command on Excel
  • Used to working in digital environments
  • High level of English (will be tested)

  •  Important information

    The position is based at ALK’s site in Madrid, located in the business area of Ciudad Lineal. We have a quick access to the Hermanos García Noblejas and Ascao metro stations and a wide bus connection network. The production site is located at Calle Miguel Fleta 19 while the Business Support area is next door, Santa Leonor 65, in a building called Avalon Business Park. Nevertheless, we have a remote working policy that will allow you to work from some days (you will receive ad-hoc information in the recruitment process).
