A key role as HR Partner for the Nordics

Your overall goal is to ensure an aligned and efficient HR foundation in the Nordic business, as well as strengthening the people and culture agenda. Your responsibilities include a wide range of HR disciplines, and you will be spearheading the HR annual cycle for the Nordic countries. In addition, you are responsible for introducing, implementing, and anchoring corporate HR programs and projects as required throughout the Nordic organization.

Some of your primary areas of responsibilities are:

  • Ensuring a strong and aligned HR foundation throughout the region in cooperation with HR, business leaders, and colleagues

  • Recruitment and induction

  • Talent and performance management

  • Employee engagement

  • Delivering training requirements, including mandatory, corporate training programs

  • Employee relations and compliance to legal and market requirements in cooperation with business leaders and external partners

In this position you will report to the VP of Human Resources for the international markets, and you will be a key business partner for the VP of the Nordic Region. You will also be partnering with the business leadership, HR and for Tempur-Sealy colleagues at locations and retail teams in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland.

You will be based at the Tempur-Sealy office in Odense, Denmark, but travelling as required to cover the Nordics, and occasionally attending HR meetings in the US and in Europe.


An experienced people and culture manager

Your educational background is most probably a degree within HR or business. You have already successfully built experience as an HR Manager in an international environment, or you may hold a more specialized, international HR role, and see this as a natural next step in your career.

Most importantly, you combine a strong business acumen with professional proficiency within HR. It is important for your success in this role, that you are able to transform business requirements into concrete HR initiatives and actions that strengthen people and culture – and that build an engaging working environment.

You will be working with both hands-on, operational tasks, and business support, as well as managing HR programs and projects. You will be partnering with HR and business leaders to accomplish goals, and therefore, your ability to build effective relationships with your stakeholders is key. You are an excellent communicator, you meet people at eye level, and you navigate efficiently in an international organization across functions, departments, and culture.

You get things done and your working style is self-driven, result oriented and ambitious. At the same time, you are a well-organized person, who manages multiple tasks and projects by prioritizing and building systems and structure.

You are fluent in English and Danish, and it is an additional advantage if you master another Nordic language.
