What you can expect

At the Retail Investment Tribe, we bring together business and IT professionals into cross-functional squads that enable us to work in a truly agile organisation. As a Chapter Lead,

you will be the team leader of the Human-Centered Design Chapter and engage with squads as the expert on user-centric methodology, customer insights, creative problem-solving, prototyping, user testing and other UX skills to create the best digital investment experiences for our customers and colleagues.

You will have a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams across several countries.

In addition to the daily work in our Tribe, you will also be part of an organisation wide design community where you will interact with peer chapter leads, aiming to improve consistency and quality across user journeys and experiences.

Depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer you a different seniority of the role.

You will:

  • Lead the designers in the Tribe - developing a result-oriented design team - and support their growth on a professional and personal level
  • Create a learning environment that enables people to do their best work and have fun while staying healthy
  • Champion the design craft and raise the design maturity in all colleagues around you be they junior, senior, or other leaders
  • Apply design methodologies to our product delivery process, including UX metrics, to see great design work having a direct and measurable impact on our customers
  • Have a central role in designing and building solutions to support our Tribe’s mission
  • Engage with different stakeholders to define customer journeys and desired outcomes
  • Work closely together with the Tribe Leadership, Product Owners, and other Chapter Leads to ensure we attract, develop and retain a team of highly skilled and motivated team members with an innovative team spirit
  • About you:

    As Chapter Lead you are an innovative and energetic leader. You blend deep design expertise with an enthusiasm for coaching and developing others.

    We see you as someone with solid interpersonal skills and leadership abilities who value kindness and interpersonal skills in management. You have a solid profile as a Design leader, UX manager or similar. You have stakeholder management experience and are good at communicating on different levels of the organisation. You recognise that diversity and inclusion is foundational for good collaboration and result-oriented teams.

    In addition, you:

  • Love leading and growing teams that build high quality products and services to solve our customers problems
  • Have 5+ years of experience in managing different designers and the ability to build, mentor and motivate high-performing design teams
  • Have 5+ years of experience in UX at larger development organisations
  • Are enthusiastic about designing delightful user experiences and establishing iterative design processes and usability metrics aligned with business goals
  • Experience being part of cross-functional leadership team with strong commercial drivers
  • Are excited about exploring new areas and engaging with stakeholders to understand and finding the right balance between business requirements, technical constraints, and customer needs
  • Are able freely communicate in both spoken and written English (Advanced English skills)
  • We offer:

    Monthly salary range applies only if you will work in Lithuania from 3840 EUR to 5760 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
