Internship for engineers

Do you dream of an internship in a highly specialized industry in one of the World’s leading companies within sustainable protein-rich food manufacturing? Then you might be one of the interns that we are seeking!

We are looking for a mechanical engineer student and a software engineer student for two different departments. Both positions have a duration of 20 weeks, and together with you, we will make individual assignments and plans for your learning. Remuneration follows the recommendation from IDA.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

As a trainee in Mechanical Engineering, you will work with process engineering, specifically fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.

This can in certain areas be combined with more traditional mechanical/structural disciplines within the education.

If you as a student have access to simulations tools, working with FEA and CFD can be equally relevant.

Our facilities consist of a wide range of sub-components and the assembly thereof, which are all designed and dimensioned by our Mechanical Engineering Department.

Your tasks will, among other things, consist of:

• Development of special components where CFD and FEA can be included if possible.
• Hydraulics
• Dimensioning of various equipment such as pumps, pipes, valves etc.
• Design and dimensioning of various support systems and standards, such as pH regulation systems, biological filters, special control valves etc.

SOFTWARE ENGINEER

As an intern in Electrical & Automation, you will work with the interface between IT and OT.

Our facilities collect a large amount of data, which together with AI/ML can be used for different purposes, especially consumption management.

We work with visualization of data and availability for analysis.

Your tasks will, among other things, consist of:

• Setting up models for data processing and availability
• Setting up algorithms for data processing in IT and OT systems
• Market analysis for 3rd party applications for data processing
