IT Security Compliance Manager

Then, you might be our new IT Security Compliance Manager, where you will safeguard our data and systems, ensuring compliance with NIS2.

Boost our team

You will part of the IT Compliance & Governance team in Global IT, a department of 60 dedicated colleagues. We are situated in Denmark, the US, Switzerland, and Germany and cover all aspects of IT Development & Operation. 

The IT Compliance & Governance team covers IT Compliance in Life Science and IT Service Management. The team supports implementation and maintenance of IT systems - and infrastructure according to regulatory and internal requirements. Security Compliance is a new area in the team. 

You will:

• Join a team that currently consists of 4 dedicated IT Compliance Specialists and 1 IT Service Manager.
• Work closely together with the Information Security Manager and the Operational Security team in a newly established security organization.
• Report to the manager of IT Compliance & Governance and your primary location will be our headquarters in Hellerup, Denmark.

Primary work tasks

Our vaccines make a real difference to people, and no matter your role we all contribute to protecting lives every day. Your primary tasks will be: 

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining security compliance strategies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g. NIS2) and best practices
• Creating and maintaining documentation related to security compliance policies, procedures, and controls. You always ensure alignment and integration with internal and external requirements and best practices in Life Science
• Collaborating with internal teams to address security compliance gaps and remediate issues 
• Driving the engine of identifying, protecting, and securing our vital IT systems, including Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and risk assessments. You will be responsible for maintaining an updated list of our most critical IT systems
• Facilitating and participating in our regular security reviews of regulated and business-critical IT systems 
• Serving as a liaison with regulatory agencies and external auditors during compliance reviews and inspections

• Min. 4 years of professional experience working in an Information Security or Compliance function
• Preferably, you have relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CISM)
• Working knowledge of key industry standards and security regulatory frameworks (e.g. ISO, SOC 2, NIST) is an advantage
• You might have experience with development and implementation of compliance strategies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
• Proficient in oral and written English 
• If you have experience with the life science industry and knowledge about the qualification and validation of IT systems within this area, it is an advantage
