Junior Buyer
Your responsibilities
It is a position in our Team UK/Poland as a Junior Buyer of textiles where you will be responsible of handling orders in all aspects from the development/sampling phase, into production, in the right specified quality, at competitive prices, and are delivered flawlessly within the given timeline. You will be part of a young team consisting of Polish, British and Danish colleagues. We offer introduction programs, and ongoing support and sparring to make sure you get the best possible start in the company so you will be well-equipped to handle your own responsibilities.
You will be involved in a wide range of activities across the company value chain and will work closely together with sales, design, and our local Far East offices daily. There will be frequent travelling to the Far East involved in this position. Expected travelling days are around 50-60 days per year.
Our requirements
- A relevant academic degree, Bachelor level or higher preferably in Business/ or Fashion.
- That you are able to communicate fluently in Polish and English, both written and oral.
- Previous work experience (1-3 years) within purchasing in a FMCG company, not limited to be within textiles.
- We see it as a positive addition to your qualifications if you have gained international experience during your past work, studies, or travels abroad.
- Good economic understanding, and a flair for numbers and calculations, and more than basic experience with Excel.
- It is expected that you travel 50 – 60 days per year.
- To be a team player and have the ability to work in a highly competitive industry.
