On a global basis, KPMG is channeling more than 1.5 billion USD into our IMPACT organisation to both deliver high-quality sustainability services to our clients and to change the way we run our own business. In Denmark, we have decided to make a significant strategic investment to take our work to the next level by establishing an ESG Hub which coordinate and further develop the range of ESG and sustainability related services that we already deliver to the market. In this role, you will be part of the Danish ESG Hub and work with a dedicated team of specialists.

transformation to reporting, assurance and finance. What sets us apart is that we are focused on facts and figures and constantly seek to innovate the way sustainability is delivered using emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.

Short introduction to KPMG ESG Hub

The KPMG ESG Hub is the focal point for the sustainability services that KPMG Denmark delivers. The purpose of the team is to tie together both local and global activities. We go to market and deliver advisory services to both public and private sector clients. Furthermore, the ESG Hub steer and propel the sustainability transformation for KPMG in Denmark and finally, the ESG Hub collaborate with external stakeholders such as universities and NGOs to learn from and contribute to the development of Danish society.

You will be working together with people across all of KPMG Denmark as well as with our Nordic colleagues and the global IMPACT organisation. Being one of the key investment areas for KPMG globally, this is an exciting journey for the right individual.

The role

As a KPMG ESG Hub Junior Consultant, your role is both customer-facing and internal. You will be supporting on projects for our clients as well as contributing to the internal sustainability agenda to enhance the Danish ESG Hub.

About you, our newest team member

Our ideal candidate has the following skills and traits:

• Currently pursuing a masters degree in a relevant field e.g. ESG, Decarbonisation, Circular Economy, Life Cycle Assessment, Nature & Biodiversity
• Interest in and enthusiasm for ESG and sustainability
• Effective analytical skills i.e., ability to do various reviews, analysis, documentation, research and data collection.
• Strong visual communicator i.e., ability to visualize complex information.
• Curious and able to work with a numerous type of tasks
• Effective collaboration skills
